From October 21-24 2018 we are welcoming programmers and presenters from around the world to Stockholm.
Swedstage is the opportunity to see and experience the very best of Swedish performing arts for children, youth and adults. During three days in Stockholm, we will present exclusively selected Swedish performances, able to tour and available for an international audience.
The registration fee for Swedstage is 400 Euro. The fee includes three nights of accommodation in Stockholm, breakfast, lunch and dinner and free entrance to all productions and other events.
With the support from the Swedish Institute we can offer the possibility of covering the registration fee and travel costs for some participants.

Anna works as a theatre ciritic and the chairman of the Swedish Theatre Critics’ Association.
Bengt is working as the executive director of the children and youth department of the National Touring Theatre (Riksteatern). He is also a board member of ASSITEJ Sweden and BIBU – the Swedish children’s theatre festival.
Cecilia Suhaid Gustafsson
Cecilia is the artistic director at Atalante, where she has curated several festivals and performances. She has a long background as a project manager and curator.
Anna works as a dramaturg with the main focus on children’s theatre. She is currently working at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. She is also a board member of ASSITEJ Sweden, BIBU – the Swedish children’s theatre festival and The Children’s Theatre Academy(Barnteaterakademien).

Swedstage is finished for this year. We had the pleasure of welcoming 57 guests from 33 different nations!
During three days in Stockholm, we presented 12 selected performances, a pitch of Swedish producers and their work, a seminar with the title “Gender on stage”, mingle and many other opportunities for the international guests to meet Swedish colleagues.
Next edition of Swedstage will take place in October 2018. See you then!
