Through the forces of the Cuban voodoo Saints and the dance clubs’ heavy beats, the dancers take you on a journey between trance and awareness. Afro- Cuban dance meets hip hop, house and popping. Collectively, individually and intimately.
 
How can one portray a spiritual force through dance? The SOMOS Dance Company with dancers from both Cuba and Sweden explores this in their production Trans[e]ición. Original music and sound design based on Afro Cuban traditional rhythms and electronic beats.

Trans[e]ición is SOMOS Dance Company’s third production and produced in Cuba 2015, premiered in Havana for full houses at La lineas- Theatre Raquel Revuelta and Orden tercera, SOMOS Dance Company’s previous production "SOMOS - I am because you are" played for sold-out houses at Södra Teatern, Park Theatre in Stockholm and at Storan Gothenburg late summer in 2013.
 

SOMOS Dance Company is a unique meeting between Cuban and Swedish dancers. They mix Afro Cuban Folkloric dance  witt Vouging / Wacking, Hip-hop, Popping, House and Contemporary dance.
